My reply to a plea for syrians in north America to suppor Damascus Declaration/ the Damascus-Spring group:
How does the spring come?
Two options:
1) as a result of natural laws: the change in the distance/position of that part of the earth from the sun
2)when some trees of that part of the earth say: now we want spring..enough winter..
Let us admit it: the Syrian mentality with its social laws and choices, is not ready yet for that result to come..
Wanna proof? take a random sample of Syrians and let them live together for 2 months in an isolated environment with somewhat limited resources..and observe the ‘laws’(or the absence of laws) they communicate based on..and the type of community they produce
